Stroma is opening to Australian schools soon. Register your interest and we'll let you know the moment it's live.
Built for Australian secondary schools · Every state · NSW-strong
Stroma runs the faculty end to end: programs built from Australian Curriculum outcomes (or your imported state syllabus) or adopted from a library of ready-made units with every worksheet and slide deck included, delivery tracked lesson by lesson and senior evidence always audit-ready. It also gives school executive one clear view across every faculty.

The actual product: your program register, writing itself
See it in action
It opens on the output (real handouts, real decks, real report comments), then shows where they come from: adopt a complete unit with every lesson resourced, differentiate it to your class's NCCD profile, record delivery as you teach, and hand your executive whole-school visibility. Recorded from the product itself.
Recorded from the demo faculty: sample data, real product. Watch the extended tour (2:51) →
The register
Two clicks after any lesson: what was covered, what was pushed, what you noticed. The annotated register (full unit content plus dated delivery notes) exports to Word whenever a supervisor, an accreditation visit or a parent asks.
| Date | Lesson delivered | Status | Teacher note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mon 23 Feb | W4: Fractions as one ideaHandout + slides from the unit kit | Covered | Fraction-wall build worked well; kept them for revision. |
| Mon 2 Mar | W5: Adding & subtracting fractionsEasier variant used for the period-5 class | Partly | Pushed: mixed-number extension → W6. Assembly cut Thursday. |
| Mon 9 Mar | W6: Decimals & place valueCarried activity runs first · NCCD adjustments applied to the kit | Next · P2 | Kit ready: handout (.docx) + slides (.pptx) |
Theory and practical streams tracked independently where a subject runs both, the way faculties actually work, and an activity that didn't happen is pushed to next lesson, not lost.

Thirteen systems in five phases: plan it, teach it, run the week around it, write it up, answer for it. Every entry is a working feature of the product today, not a roadmap promise.
Pick official outcomes (Australian Curriculum v9, built in), place them on a term-by-week scope and sequence, and generate complete units grounded in your school's own context.
Complete units for HPE and Mathematics, Years 7–10. Adopt one in a click. It arrives as a normal unit, fully yours to edit.
Covered, partly, or not run, with the date, your note, and any activity pushed to next lesson. Your program register exports in one click, annotations included.
Any lesson kit pitched easier, standard or harder, adjusted to your class's NCCD profile, stamped against the lesson as adjustment-planning evidence.
Full fortnightly timetables with rooms and streams, and automatic workload calculations per staff member, with part-time adjustments and release time included. Distance Education loading is an optional setting for the few schools that run it.
When someone calls in sick, Stroma generates a complete casual-teacher note for every class that day, with lesson focus, planned activities, student notes and a roll reminder, exported to Word and ready to hand over.
A shared faculty casual login shows a reliever today's classes with the exact lesson and its resources, and records what was actually covered back onto the program, flagged as casual-taught.
Observations written after each lesson (about specific students, their engagement, their progress) become the source material for differentiated, outcomes-focused report comments at the end of term.
The markbook and reports for a solo teacher are private by design: our servers store marks against codes you choose, and the names stay on your device, under your control.
A markbook with rubric grading mapped to outcomes, and one click to draft student-facing feedback from the marks: warm, honest and specific. Those marks also ground your end-of-term report comments.
Run faculty and executive meetings without the chasing. Agenda, action items and minutes: recorded, exportable, done.
Senior assessment compliance for HSC, VCE, QCE and more, tracked task by task per student: submissions, illness, misadventure and special consideration status, and links to your school's own documentation. Eligibility evidence in one place.
Deputies and principals read every faculty's live delivery and compliance (no reporting round, no chasing) and can only write the whole-school layer. Faculties keep their own records.
Dashboard
The Stroma dashboard shows your current period, today's classes with full lesson detail, tasks and upcoming events, the moment you open it, every day.
Live period tracking. NOW and NEXT UP update automatically using your actual school bell times throughout the day.
Today's lesson detail. Each class shows the lesson title, content focus and planned activities, so you know exactly what you're teaching before you walk in the door.
After-lesson prompts. Record what was covered and note student observations while it's fresh, building your delivery record automatically.
For principals & deputies
School executive get one live view across every faculty (program delivery, compliance status and outstanding flags), drawn from the same records teachers already keep. No reporting round, no spreadsheet, no chasing Head Teachers. They read everything, and coordinate the whole-school layer without ever touching a faculty's own programs.
Every faculty at a glance. Delivery progress, assessment status and flagged exceptions, side by side across the school.
Oversight, not interference. Executive read every faculty's records, and can only write the whole-school layer: a shared calendar, notes to a faculty, and NCCD adjustment coordination. Programs, staffing and assessment stay owned by the faculty.
NCCD & senior-assessment evidence on demand. Adjustment planning and senior assessment follow-ups roll up across the school, so when registration or an accreditation visit asks, the answer is already there.
Compliance and registration
Stroma keeps the records that matter. When something needs to be evidenced (delivery, assessment, senior eligibility, programs), it's already documented.
Every lesson delivered leaves a record, and your program register (full unit content plus dated delivery annotations) exports in one click. When a supervisor, an accreditation visit or a parent asks, the evidence already exists.
Year 11 and 12 assessment compliance (HSC, VCE, QCE and more), tracked task by task. Submissions, illness, misadventure and special consideration status, and links to your school's own documentation: your senior eligibility evidence, in one place.
For every teacher
Teachers get their own personal view, connected to the same programs and timetable you manage, so they're prepared, not scrambling.
When someone calls in sick, Stroma generates a complete casual-teacher note for every class that day, with lesson focus, planned activities, student notes and a roll reminder, exported to Word and ready to hand over.
Observations written after each lesson (about specific students, their engagement, their progress) become the source material for differentiated, outcomes-focused report comments at the end of term.
Each teacher sees their personal Week A/B schedule, shared faculty events, and their own calendar entries, all in one view that stays in sync with what you manage.
Teachers submit items for upcoming faculty or executive meetings directly from their app. You review and add them to the agenda. No emails, no chasing, no items forgotten.
Teaching solo?
The only PDHPE teacher at your school, a small-school department of one, or just want your own planning sorted? A solo account is the complete product for one teacher, not a cut-down version.
Everything is self-serve. Create your own classes and timetable, build programs from the syllabus or adopt ready-made units from the library, and generate lesson resources for your own classes.
Your program register, always ready. Delivery tracked lesson by lesson and exportable with one click, so registration and accreditation evidence never becomes a weekend job.
Unit library
Complete, classroom-ready units written to the Australian Curriculum v9. Adopt one into your own program in a click. It arrives as a normal unit, fully yours to edit, with every lesson's teaching materials already made. Browse complete sample units free; the whole library, with every lesson's kit, is included on every paid plan, Lite included.
HPE and Mathematics, Years 7–10, complete: 16 ten-lesson HPE theory units plus 22 practical modules (games, athletics, dance, gymnastics, aquatics, fitness, outdoor), and all 16 Mathematics units. Science is landing now, with English and HSIE to follow.
Every lesson's kit included: a rich student handout in standard, easier and harder versions, an answer key with teacher notes, a matching slide deck with a free large-print version, and a unit assessment task with marking rubric.
Aligned and attributed, outcome by outcome. Every unit carries its syllabus outcomes into your scope and sequence and your program register, with curriculum attribution handled automatically.
Lesson resources
Open any lesson and generate a complete kit: a printable student handout and a matching slide deck, pitched Easier, Standard or Harder, and automatically adjusted for your class's learning needs.
Handout and slides in one tap: a student worksheet as Word (.docx) with a printed answer key, and a matching 16:9 slide deck (.pptx), generated together from the lesson.
Differentiated to the class. Choose Easier, Standard or Harder, and Stroma applies your class's NCCD adjustment profile so the material fits the students in front of you.
Evidence, not just output. Every generation is stamped against the lesson, building your NCCD adjustment-planning trail as you go. Learning needs are held at class level, never against a named student.
Shared once, used by everyone. A kit generated by one teacher is saved for the whole faculty, built with real tables, diagrams, callout boxes and licensed images, not walls of bullet points. And when a class needs large print, high contrast or colour-safe slides, an accessible version of the deck is one click away.
AI built in
Stroma connects to Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google) to handle the time-consuming writing tasks that pile up across a term, so you're not staring at a blank document on a Sunday night.
Fee schedule
Lite is the whole programming, registration and compliance core: the complete library, the planner, the register, the markbook. Solo adds the eleven places Stroma writes for you. Prices are in Australian dollars, per teacher.

Founding Solo: A$16 a month, or A$160 a year. The full Solo plan at 20% off, held for as long as your membership stays active. Open to the first 200 paid members or until 30 June 2027, whichever comes first. Same product and the same A$10 monthly AI allowance. The discount is on the price, never on the product. That is about 41 lesson kits written from scratch every month. Register your interestClaim a founding place to be told the moment places open.
Nothing is charged yet. Stroma opens to paying members once beta testing is finished. No card is taken anywhere on this site today, and everyone on the waitlist hears before that changes.
Faculty Early Access is by invitation only while we run it with a small number of pilot faculties; it isn't a plan you can buy. Whole-school licensing isn't offered yet.
Lite and Solo, side by side
It is the entire programming, registration and compliance core: every part of Stroma that doesn't ask an AI to write something. Solo adds exactly eleven things, and they're all writing.

Common questions
So does almost every school. Stroma is the layer they don't do: your programs, your register, your resources, your compliance evidence. Nothing to migrate, nothing to replace. Stroma sits beside your school's management system.
It does: a chatbot. Stroma isn't a chatbot. It's your scope and sequence, your delivery records, and resources bound to your actual program, with the registration-ready evidence coming out the other end.
A$12 a month for Lite: the complete library, the planner, the delivery ledger, register exports, markbook, Senior Tracking, timetabling and cover. A$20 a month for Solo, which adds the eleven AI features and A$10 of AI a month. Annually that's A$120 and A$200; founding members pay A$16 a month for Solo. Prices are in Australian dollars, per teacher (see the full fee schedule). Nothing is charged yet: paid plans open once beta testing is finished.
There's no permanent free plan, but there are two free ways in. Preview lets anyone browse complete sample units, and a free account downloads their handouts, answer keys and slide decks. Trial gives you the whole of Solo for 30 days with no card, including A$4 of AI to spend once, enough to import your existing programs and build a term before you decide.
Nothing you get billed for. The monthly allowance is a cap, not a meter that keeps running. There is no overage charge and nothing to top up. A$10 is more than double the heaviest term-time month we've modelled, reporting round included. If you did reach it, generating pauses until the month turns over and every other part of Stroma carries on as normal.
No. Lite is the whole programming and compliance core, so your programs, delivery records, markbook, register exports and every resource kit you already have stay exactly where they are. Kits re-download free, forever, without touching AI. The only thing that stops is generating new AI writing.
Getting started
No rollout project. No IT department. No training day. Here's how onboarding works:
Sign in with Google, name your faculty and pick your school. Add staff and classes, then import your timetable from a photo. AI reads it in seconds.
Add a teacher to your roster and their account exists. They sign in with their school email and their classes are already waiting. Teachers can also request to join; you approve in one click.
Timetables, programs, AI features and calendars sync automatically. Teachers see their view, you see the faculty, executive see the school.
Self-serve sign-up opens with our public launch. Until then, trial schools are set up personally. Email us and your faculty will be running within a week.
Start with one faculty, expand to the whole school. No long setup, no install, no clunky rollout.
